Report for AmourMeet.com review

AmourMeet.com promises that after becoming a member, users will get instant access to myriads of real users looking for meaningful relationships. The landing page stated on multiple occasions that signing up for this site’s service is free of charge. Potential subscribers are led into thinking that their experience on this website will be 100% free. This is false advertising, which is just the first problem that we encountered while evaluating the site for this review.

AmourMeet.com seems like a legit dating platform at first with its clean design that makes it look professional and trustworthy. However, we came across several hints of a probable scam. We suspect that the site uses fake profiles to rip off genuine members. Moreover, we also found negative online reports from former users. The site is operated by Astrasoft Projects LTD, a company based in Limassol, Cyprus.

Details on the AmourMeet.com review

AmourMeet.com presents itself with a decent-looking landing page that doesn’t display any erotic content. Apparently, this dating website addresses men who are looking to experience a long-lasting relationship or marry a sincere woman. At first, it seemed like a legit platform for finding love and a committed relationship. After evaluating the portal extensively, we decided not to recommend our readers to sign up here. Even though we didn’t find any clear evidence of a scam, we were still highly sceptical of this site.

The profiles don’t look real

First of all, all the profiles that we saw on the landing page were highly suspicious. All the girls look more like professional models rather than regular users of a matchmaking site. The pictures were clearly taken in a professional setting. We didn’t give much thought, as it is not uncommon for dating platforms to display the most attractive members on the homepage for advertising purposes. However, if all the profile pictures in the member’s area look like experienced models in a controlled environment, then red flags are up in the air.

After registering for an account, we checked hundreds of profiles and saw that all the girls were absolutely stunning. We carefully examined the Terms and Conditions, but we couldn’t find evidence of a fake chat rip-off. As it turns out, we are not the only ones who think that this is the case. On the internet, we came across a few negative reviews of former users complaining about the same reason we gave earlier. We couldn’t find any success story of someone being able to arrange a romantic date on AmourMeet.com.

Dangerous credits

Contrary to what was implied on the landing page, AmourMeet.com isn’t free to use. Free users can only create profiles and browse the members’ area. To do anything else on the site, users have to spend a lot of money by purchasing credits, which is a digital currency that users must purchase in advance to communicate with other members. Depending on what users want to do, they need a certain number of credits. The price of sending a single message is reasonably fair, but sending a picture, a sticker, or using the site’s web chat is extremely expensive.

The worst part is that credits are subject to automatic top-up. It’s very easy to end up spending hundreds of pounds in just a few moments. Moreover, some former users suggest that stopping the automatic top-up is very difficult. This sounds a lot like a subscription rip-off, which is one more reason to not trust Astrasoft Projects LTD, the site’s operator from Limassol, Cyprus.

The conclusion from our AmourMeet.com review

AmourMeet.com seems to be a good choice at first. However, upon further inspection, we became very sceptical of this site. The landing page provides misleading information about the costs. Also, the profiles from the homepage and the members’ area appear to be fake despite us not finding any evidence in the legal notes. Lastly, the automatic top-up is a cheeky trick that can squander your savings for no real reason. We don’t think that you’ll ever be able to meet anybody here.
