Report for AmateursBay.com review

The first thing we see when we enter AmateursBay.com is a registration form with pictures on the landing page, just like any other dating website. According to the posted text, users don’t need to provide their credit card information to register. It is quick and easy, and users will be able to chat and find all sorts of fun that they want after registering.

To get more detailed information about the website, we registered for an account to evaluate the site. At first, it seemed to be convenient, but upon further inspection, it turned out to be a scam website with mostly fake profiles and fake chat services. As a result, the chance to meet other users in real life through this site is impossible. The operator behind this website is Midsummer Online BV, which is based in Middelburg, Netherlands.

Details on the AmateursBay.com review

At first glance, the online dating website AmateursBay.com seemed to be legit, fun to join, and a trustworthy platform. We were able to see other profiles that seemed to belong to real members. After registering, users will be able to see some of the optional tags on the left side of the page that show the site’s services. However, soon after a user registers, a lot of fake profiles will try to chat with them, and the notification bar will fill up as soon as a new account is activated via email.

The problem is that it is not possible to reply to messages because users need to purchase expensive credits first to respond. Three messages cost $3 which is a complete rip-off. Normally, paying a service fee to a dating website service is ordinary on the surface. However, when the operator is using fake profiles to scam users, it’s unacceptable.

Excerpt from the GTC (as of 26/01/2023)

3.1. amateursbay.com has the goal of allowing users to flirt. amateursbay.com is the platform for users to chat with fictive profiles. The website, service and content are being provided for entertainment purposes only and are not intended to be used for establishing meetings with other users. Profiles marked with a heart icon […] are fictive profiles with which physical contact is not possible.

Beware of Fake Chats

The operator behind AmateursBay.com is Midsummer Online BV, which is in Middleburg, Netherlands. We found some bad reviews about that operator that say the operator is known for scamming users with fake dating websites. “Fake chat” operators are trying to scam members with fake profiles and try to chat with users until they run out of credits, and then urge users to buy more. Since users are conversing with fake chat operators, a physical date is not impossible. There are no members with real profiles, and the website itself is fake.

According to our experience from researching and reading reviews on the internet, AmateursBay.com is an absolute rip-off. As the terms and conditions obviously state, services are provided for the purpose of entertainment by using fake profiles, which is why physical dates are impossible. Even though they stated it in the terms, they tried to hide it by showing the terms and conditions with a photo instead of a text document.

The conclusion from our AmateursBay.com review

The online dating website AmateursBay.com is a complete scam with a fake chat service. Fake chat operators use fake profiles to generate messages that lure users to chat. It is not possible to find a real person for a casual date. Their goal is to make members buy as many credits as they can for sending messages. If you have already experienced this kind of scam, please let us know in the comments.

Absolute scam do not go near this site as you will get sucked in and lose money and probably never get your money back.

I agree with all the negative comments about Amateursbay. I started chatting with one girl but then I was obliged to pay exhorbitant fees to continue. When the girl refused to communicate via email I realised it was just a scam to extort outrageously expensive fees just to chat and our conversations ceased. This site should be banned by the government and registered with Action Fraud.

The amateur’s bay has ripped me off as I have spent much money chatting to various girls online. When it comes to meeting up, they will turn me down and end the relationship. I became suspicious after chatting with the third girl, who did not want to meet up, as te previous two.
I decided to check the site out and found your information that they are a scam. This is not fair, as I have been scammed for around 1,000 pounds for messages to generate stuff. It is absolutely disgusting and sure the scammer can be stopped with the support of the government.
