The landing page features an image of an attractive blonde woman, and it also shows a few profiles that are supposedly members of the site. The website was developed by Vipconnect LTD, from Limassol, Cyprus. They are not a big player in the online dating business, but we could tell right from the start that the website was a scam. Regardless, we created a profile to write a proper review of our experience.

The text written in the Terms of Use of Adults-Flirt.com was also very enlightening. At first, the written text was convincing enough to make anyone who read it believe that the site was legit. However, when we got to the very end of the terms, the mention of fake profiles revealed itself. They started off by saying that the operators put a lot of effort into making sure the profiles were authentic. However, that claim contrasted with the information we found, which was that profiles were being operated by hired help.

Undeserved attention

After signing up for an account, it didn’t take long before our inbox was bursting with messages from sexy ladies. They were very explicit in their requests, which was totally uncalled-for. We hadn’t even had time to include a profile picture, and yet we were bombarded with such intrusive text. That made it clear to us that this was the result of phony accounts that approach every new user on the website. Its goal was to lure us into paying for messages to send back to them.

Upon closer examination, the Terms and Conditions supported our findings. The operator was careful to not reveal anything in the first few paragraphs of their terms just in case someone would try and read the disclaimers. However, at the bottom of the page, the company revealed that they manage fictitious profiles controlled by “website hosts.” It sounds like they hire someone to impersonate horny women. One single host can control several fictitious profiles. This approach is unethical in our opinion. After all, the user isn’t clearly informed about the fictitious nature of these profiles when using the chat service.

Raw deal

The platform requires that users buy a package of messages to participate in the chat service. At first, we received enough credits to send up to 5 messages. According to our experience, this was quite generous in comparison to other rip-off websites. Nevertheless, the packages they offered afterward were not cheap deals. If users buy the smallest bundle, they get to send four more messages for almost ten euros. That is 2.5 euros per message, a scandalous price just to write some hot messages on a fantasy chat service.
