Report for Yiamoo.com review

Yiamoo.com is a dating platform that invites readers to sign up to find single girls nearby and start chatting today. On its landing page, it states that it has already helped more than 25,000 people find new relationships. This website seems to be the ideal place for anyone more interested in long-lasting experiences than just casual sexual encounters.

We did some research and found that Yiamoo.com is just a scam with fake chat. The operator of this portal, which is called Meet Us Media LTD and is based in Nicosia, Cyprus, employs professional moderators.  Their job is to get in touch with new users and lure them into buying useless coins. Since profiles on this site are fake, meetings in real life are not possible. We have already written several reviews exposing its multiple rip-offs.

Details on the Yiamoo.com review

The initial page of Yiamoo.com looks really promising at first sight. The design is modern and elegant, and the layout is a good combination of interesting content and hot pictures. It promises every user will be able to find their perfect match immediately after registering. It guarantees a superior dating experience on any kind of device since its platform is optimized to work perfectly on mobiles, tablets and desktops. On the surface, it appears to be a great choice if you’re looking for meaningful connections with singles in your local area.

We created a test profile to verify the accuracy of this information. Registration is free, swift and straightforward. Basic membership allows users to browse all the profiles in the members’ area. However, it doesn’t enable them to connect with other people. In order to do this, users have to purchase coins, which are the virtual currency used on every platform run by the operator of Yiamoo.com.

Too expensive

Users have to pay separately for every message. A single coin doesn’t cost much, but it’s important to bear in mind that you will need 40 just to send one message. This equals roughly £2.00. If you engage in multiple conversations at the same time, the chances are that you’ll end up spending hundreds of pounds in a matter of minutes. The only good news is that the company doesn’t operate a renewal billing policy. At least this is not a subscription rip-off.

Sadly, it doesn’t matter how much money you’re willing to pay. The person you’ll be talking to will most likely be just a fake chat operator who adopts a fictitious character. The scope for arranging an actual date on Yiamoo.com is therefore virtually non-existent.

Excerpt from the GTC (as of 02/06/2022)

The Company operates system profiles (i.e. profiles connected to Accounts which have been created by the Company and which are either operated by contractors of the Company who impersonate the persons portrayed in such profiles or by a system designed to interact with users) and expressly reserves the right to chat with users through such system profiles in order to enhance the users’ entertainment experience. Physical contact with individuals behind such system profiles is strictly prohibited.

A disreputable operator

Meet Us Media LTD, the company from Nicosia, Cyprus, that runs Yiamoo.com, is notorious for using fake chat on all its dating portals. The Internet is full of negative reviews from former users who complain that it’s impossible to meet anybody in real life on these sites.

The conclusion from our Yiamoo.com review

On the surface, Yiamoo.com seems a great place to find someone to meet and have fun with. In reality, it is just a very expensive scam. Users are tricked into buying coins with the promise that this will allow them to get in touch with real members. Instead, they will invariably chat with professional moderators who never correspond to the people displayed in the profile picture. Dates in real life are not possible.
