The online dating website OurSecretChat.com advertises a great number of attractive profile pictures on the landing page. All profiles are displayed blurred but they all show something like a status. The status of all profiles make us assume that this platform is very easy to find a date. But we did some research and it turned out that all profiles are fakes and they use fake profiles to scam its users.
OurSecretChat.com is another platform by the Midsummer Online BV which is well-known for its rip off dating platforms. As always the operator lures the users into a platform that is full with fake profiles and as always there is not a single real person in the member’s area.

Frist of all we mention that OurSecretChat.com is another platform of the rip off company Midsummer Online BV. The operator is well-known for its many scamming dating websites and we can only express our warnings. The scam always follows the same steps and the tricks are mostly the same.
Fake operators
It starts on the landing page which shows wrong and misleading information. In this case the landing page of OurSecretChat.com shows many profile pictures. All of the profile pictures are blurred, so we can they are all female users. So the users will assume that the member’s area is full of female members looking for adventures. All profiles show a status of what they want and what they would do with you. With this simple thing the users gets tricked and lured into the platform.
After registration the users will receive a lot of messages in a very short time. Of course the users will still assume that every member is real but as it turns out. With our research not a single person is real. All profiles are fake to entertain the users. The fake operators get in touch with the users and entice them to buy credits which are needed to start a conversation or reply to others. As every other member is not real and every part of a conversation is fake the whole platform is a rip off.

The job of the fake operators and their fake profiles is to higher the income of the operator. The operator is Midsummer Online BV. The company is located in Deventer in the Netherlands runs a large number of dating portals and all of those platforms are clearly not recommendable. The fake operators are mentioned in the terms and conditions.
Additionally the landing page of OurSecretChat.com shows the information at the very button which the operator strongly recommend you to read the terms and conditions of the website. But that does not change the fact that the users gets tricked and scammed by fake operators and their fake profiles as they do not identify themselves and the fake profiles are not marked as such.

So many similar experiences to mine described on here. I’ve been signed up to this site now since Christmas 2021 & despite all the money I’ve spent I still have nothing to show for it.
It’s not just catfish accounts that these people use to rob you. They also character limit message lengths so that a typical reply can take multiple messages & multiple charges.
The credit card companies need to cut these scammers off, being as they’re hiding outside the reach of uk consumer law in the Netherlands.
This chat are all fake I don’t know any one that got hooked up and Reed all the comments we all got done for money and you need watch when you buy the one day trial as automatic the charge you for a month

I’ve been on this web site for less than a week, in that time I’ve received over 500 messages. I’ve spent quite a bit of cash, I did enjoy the chats, but found it odd that the structure of the conversations seemed change during the chat, one moment you were conversing with someone who was fluent in English and the next message was written by someone who knew little English and were asking something you’d already spoken about, then revert back to fluent English, almost as if someone went on a break, then returned. I was lulled into a false sense of it being genuine because of the locations/districts, they were local to my city, Aberdeen. Also any suggestion to meet up was subtly dismissed or put forward to the future. I can only imagine how hurtful this site could be to lonely and vulnerable people.

I got sucked into this site at the start of lockdown 2. As a single man I enjoyed flirting with some lovely looking ladies but, every time I suggested meeting up they got vague. The replier does not speak perfect English and instead of appearing interested in a date just comes out with some really horny and provocative seduction lines. Some even pretend they live a few miles away from you.
I must admit I had a bit of fun and only spent about £50 before I decided to bail out. You have to buy credits and every message you send costs around a pound. So they will keep you chatting for hours. So glad I did not let them save my card details!
This is a scam, only try it if a fantasy affair is what turns you on.
Yet another con run by that bunch of Dutch crooks. Within an hour of registering my inbox was full of tempting women offering sex. This was in the middle of the day, so don’t they work? or is scamming poor suckers their job! I was getting messages saying they loved my profile and how wonderful I looked, strange I deliberately didn’t put a picture on my profile and there was no info about me at all on there, other than my age, and a note saying do not contact me if you live more than 25 miles away. I’m 66 and was getting messages from 19 and 20 year olds offering sex and messages from women 400 miles away! Most of the messages were in very poor English and the messages and profiles conflicted each other.Luckily I decided to check the web for reviews of this site before parting with any money, thanks guys.
I have been trying to arrange a date on oursecretchat but every time I ask a question that requires confirmation I can never get a direct answer. Their latest scam is to clone your e-mail account. I thought I had closed my account with them weeks ago, when last night i opened what I thought was my e-Mail account, only to find several dating messages. The fact they appeared on what I thought was my actual e-Mail account, the layout being identical, I responded to a couple of the messages. It wasn’t until later I had cause to check my internet history I found the chats I had just been involved in were listed as being from “mysecretchat.com”. I subsequently re-opened my e-Mail account via an app, and ALL the chat/date messages had disappeared, and the number of unread messages in my account had reduced to normal amounts. My worry now is have they not closed my account, and am I likely to find charges appearing on my credit card for their services. How can I be sure that they’ve closed my account, short of contacting my credit card company requesting that all payments to whoever they call themselves for payment purposes, are refused.

I’ve only recently signed up to mysecretchat.com and have already spent £100s It wasn’t until the battery ran out on my laptop and didn’t want to loose the thread of someone I seemed to be getting on famously with, and tried to log in on another device that took me to this site. Having had a couple of disappointing outcomes with potential dates who seemed to cry off at the last minute I hadn’t given the scam aspect a thought, however if all now falls into place. It’s just designed to ensure you keep buying credits which are soon used up with multiple messages to members on your Favourite list, the trouble is that me and everyone else using their website have not had much income due to COVID 19 and lockdown only to find that some ripoff organisation is making vast amounts of money from people that probably can’t really afford to run up debts, I know I can’t. Now I’ve got two options, start again with a genuine company and run up more debt, or abandon the project all together

I was suspicious when I first signed up. I counted 19 profiles claiming to be from a small Hamlet that only has 12 houses. I purchased some credits and asked a girl who claimed to be from a small village I know a question. She couldn’t tell me the name of it’s only Public House.Another girl said she was only an hours drive from me, but I could actually walk to where she said she was in less than 15 minutes. Shame really because the’re some nice looking profiles, but they aren’t real!
I meant SHIFT changes, (got a sticky keyboard) tho I did believe a couple of profiles were genuine. But as I said previously, although they claimed to be a dating site, it was impossible to hook up because of there condition 3.13 (see my previous blog).

I’ve been suckered into using this site, although I did read the conditions. It advertises itself as a Dating site, but in its rules it states that you can’t give details to enable you to ‘hook up’ or ‘meet up’!
In the Conditions sections there are two which apply to dating:
3,13 It is not allowed to directly or indirectly include contact details such as telephone numbers,street addresses, surnames,URLs, e-mail addresses or other personally identifiable information or making requests to obtain contact details in your profile or on visual material. oursecretchat.com reserves the right to refuse, modify, or delete Profiles or parts of Profiles.

Although the price per chat is not extreme, it can soon add up! I sadly was suckered into believing that the some of the profiles are genuine but eventually they give themselves away by not answering questions, or repeating question over and over which you havealready answered, and at times you can detect shit changes!

All you have to do is READ the messages to figure out this site is full of it. The syntax used looks as if English is a second language. NO ONE in my area where I live talks like the messages sent out.
