These accounts are controlled by fake chat operators who impersonate a fictional character. Their purpose is to encourage users to purchase a premium membership, without which they cannot access the chat or any other communication features. The problem is that these profiles cannot be distinguished from genuine ones, assuming they exist at all. Therefore, users are led to think that the messages they are receiving come from a real person who they can eventually meet. But this will never happen.

A cheeky trap

Right after registration, new users receive a lot of intriguing messages. This make them think that many people are already interested in them. But they can only partially read them, and of course, they cannot reply. Conveniently, they are immediately directed to the payment page, where a 1-day trial package is offered at a bargain price.
