Report for MeetSouls.com review

Our first impression of the international online dating site known as MeetSouls.com left us puzzled and in horror. The landing site was absolutely terrible, for it was crowded with ads that were extremely distracting. The layout was so messy and uncoordinated that we didn’t even know where to look first. What was even more concerning was we couldn’t find the name of the company that created the site. At least we were able to set up a free account. Allegedly, using the services is also supposed to be free, but the user experience left much to be desired.

The website guarantees real members are present on this site and claims to put a lot of effort into maintaining that promise. For example, VPN users are banned. It also requires users to upload a profile picture before they can interact with others. However, something didn’t add up. Most of the profiles seemed incomplete and there wasn’t much activity going on. We couldn’t help but wonder if this portal was actually created to help users or to liberate them of their profile pictures for other purposes. Even if it’s not a scam, we doubt anyone could find a date here.

Details on the MeetSouls.com review

MeetSouls.com is a very weird dating platform that is supposed to appeal to an international audience. The website is available in many different languages. It is free to use, but it doesn’t come across as a serious dating platform. After all, it was impossible for us to figure out the name of the operator behind this website. We only know that this website is based in the United States. Even if it’s not meant to be a scam, there is something unsettling about it and we wouldn’t recommend anyone to register here.

Strange terms

MeetSouls.com is rather unusual. It is a free dating website that is straight-up ugly. Yet, they seem to make a big effort in verifying the validity of profiles. The ‘Terms of Service’ is also not what we were used to. They claim that the website’s content comes from many different sources and that they don’t endorse any of them. They admit that the content posted by the profiles may be fake, which opens the possibility of a fake chat service in a subtle manner.

The mentioned sources could mean that there are professional chat operators handling the profiles, or they could simply be referring to the ads. It is just too open-ended, and the text leaves more questions than it does answers. Either way, an unknown operator usually points to a rip-off, so we wouldn’t risk it. Also, after writing countless online reviews on fake dating sites, we know that many people find out the hard way about how these scams manifest. Therefore, we recommend caution.

Suspicious profiles

Just as promised, the profiles in the members’ area did come from all over the world. However, when we took a good look at them, there was something off about them that we found in the details. Minor details such as weight and height contrasted with the photos. Sometimes, profiles were mostly empty. There were times when we found profile pictures to be irregular. We must say though, that the profiles always looked like they belonged to real people. It’s not the typical rip-off with photographs of models that we often describe in most of our reviews.

The conclusion from our MeetSouls.com review

MeetSouls.com is a confusing online dating website that is available in many different languages. We don’t know what to think about it, but our gut feeling tells us that it is not good. We suspect there may be a fake chat service, or that the company is trying to collect photographs from real people. There is something odd about the profiles, and our experience with this site was not very positive, even if the service was free to use. Furthermore, the interface looks dated, ugly, and messy.
