FindGrannies.co.uk is a dating portal for users in the UK, and the registration is free of charge. Although the name of the portal is FindGrannies.co.uk, the landing page only shows us photos of young women. On FindGrannies.co.uk you never know who you are really talking to. The portal turns out to be a fake chat scam, fake chat operators try to manipulate the real users into a conversation.

It is surprisingly easy to get in contact with many of the attractive-looking profiles in the members’ area. After checking the terms and conditions, we find out that FindGrannies.co.uk uses moderated fake profiles which entice the users to send various messages. Chatting on FindGrannies.co.uk is expensive. The operator tries to generate a high income. We were not able to make out which company is responsible for FindGrannies.co.uk. This is not a good sign.

You will not detect any scam just by looking at the landing page of FindGrannies.co.uk. Everything seems to be fine, anyone aged 18 and older can register for free. “Sign Up, Get Unlimited Access And Start Chatting”. Reading this statement, you can easily believe that by signing up you already get unlimited access. This is not true, FindGrannies.co.uk just wants you to think that way.

While you can receive messages for free, you cannot contact any other member without spending money. The operator soon informs us that we need to buy credits, which we can then use to pay for sending messages. For £9.95 we get 500 credits. Since we get charged 100 credits per sent message, this package only grants us 5 messages. As if this was not enough of a rip-off, the operator has made FindGrannies.co.uk a moderated service to earn even more money.

Some of the messages you may receive, will be sent by real persons, although we do not guarantee you will actually receive messages from real people and if you do, we do not guarantee the veracity of the information they may send you.
