I stupidly clicked on the link for this site and had a conversation within minutes from a person claiming to live 5 miles from me. We chatted for a few minutes then it said that i had to pay about £3 to continue. I thought nothing of £3 so i paid. They took %103 instead.the person i was talking told me she lived in the village that i worked in not knowing that i actually worked there. She told me she was in the pub waiting. I worked in that pub and we were closed !!!. I confronted them and got abuse.I immediately cancelled my subscription so well within the 2 weeks allowed to cancel and i thought nothing more about it 3 months later they took another £103 so i messaged again again. I was given a link to cancel again only to be sent to another dating site. I emailed and they even sent me confirmation of cancellation… 3 months later , another £103. I emailed again and got nothing. Very very hard to contact them. I cancelled payments with my bank and was then issued with a new card . 3 minths later i had an email telling me i was late with payment and it would go to a solicitor. I looked up more reviews and its the same story many people getting ripped off and unable to contact them. Its very obvious a fake scam site. I kept receiving emails one even saying that i had cancelled !!! Then more emails saying that i owe more money and it was going to their solicitor i emailed back only to be told that it was not a real email address. From then on i couldnt even get on my email. It was like it had been hacked. I used a different device to get on my email which was successful only to find that all the emails that had been sent were now gone !. This morning i received a letter from a solicitor in Germany saying that i should pay immediately. All the reviews i read said that they just ignored the emails and it eventually went away. But im now very concerned. I cant see a way out of this right now. ANY help would be very much appreciated. Many thanks. I could send a copy 9f the solicitor letter if it helps. Thanks
