AfroditaDate.com claims to be one of the largest dating platforms in the world. You can supposedly meet amazing singles here easily. However, our review clearly shows this is not the case. The site is in fact nothing but a rip-off with a fake chat scam.

To get access to the site’s communication features, users need a paid membership subscription. These subscriptions are not only rather expensive but also potentially dangerous. They renew automatically and may very well be difficult to cancel. Users can thus easily end up stuck in a costly subscription trap. 

Moreover, chatting here is a waste of time anyway. The members’ area mostly contains fake profiles, which are created and controlled by employed fake chat operators. As we see it, these profiles are solely used to send enticing chat messages to new members to lure them into paid services as quickly as possible. You are extremely unlikely to meet genuine singles here.

At first glance the online dating portal AfroditaDate.com appears to be a great choice. According to the landing page, the site is one of the world’s largest dating platforms and a great place to meet amazing singles from your area quickly and easily. For this review, we decided to dig a little deeper and do some research. So we created a free account, familiarized ourselves with all tools and features available, read the terms and conditions and searched the internet for user experiences. 

Sadly, AfroditaDate.com fails to live up to its claims and promises. The portal is nothing but a fake chat scam and a potential subscription rip-off. 

Risky membership subscriptions

While signing up and creating a personal profile are 100% free, using the site’s communication features is definitely not free. To gain access to the most essential features, a paid membership subscription is needed. All subscriptions on offer renew automatically and must be actively cancelled by users to stop recurring payments. But as the site’s operator cannot be trusted, the chances are that the cancellation process is extremely difficult and troublesome. To avoid ending up stuck in a long-lasting subscription trap, we advise you to refrain from signing up for any of the memberships offered.

Fake chat scam

After reading the terms and conditions, we discovered that making any payment to AfroditaDate.com is a waste of money. The members’ pool contains “staff profiles”, which are created and controlled by employed fake chat operators. These profiles are ostensibly used to ensure the site’s functionality. But in our experience, they are really used to send enticing fake messages to new users for the purpose of luring them into paid membership subscriptions as quickly as possible. Since the site is full of fake profiles, the chances of finding genuine singles here are extremely low.
